Dallas—New View Roofing is pleased to announce its GAF certification, a coveted benchmark that many roofing contractors in the Dallas–Fort Worth Area aren’t able to achieve.
GAF-certified contractors, including New View Roofing, have exclusive access to extensive educational materials developed by experts in the roofing industry. The certification also enables these top-tier contractors to offer GAF Weather Stopper® 3-Part Roof Protection Systems, which protects homeowners and business owners from common roofing problems, as well as a whole host of warranty options that ordinary contractors can’t offer.
“This GAF certification means a lot to all our clients in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex,” says Burton Hughes, a New View expert. “More homes and businesses in the area, and in fact all over the U.S., use GAF roofing materials than materials from any other company. Because they’re one of the leading roofing materials companies, it’s really great for everyone who calls us. We can offer our clients warranty options and special systems that really keep their homes and businesses protected.”
Hughes has an extensive background in construction and real estate sales. He joined New View Roofing in 2016.
GAF has been in business for more than a century, providing high quality roofing materials all over the United States. The company itself has been rated consistently among the best in shingle quality for the last decade, and it produces the most popular shingles in North America. GAF offers 57 brands of shingles and other roofing materials, which explains why one in four U.S. residential roofs use them.
The Master Elite® certification that New View Roofing has earned gives the company exclusive access to the Center for the Advancement of Roofing Excellence, or CARE, which has trained more than 230,000 industry professionals in safe roofing techniques. Roofers who attend CARE training learn time-tested, hands-on installation techniques that put them among the most qualified professionals in the nation.
“Whether we’re out performing roof repair in Dallas or roof replacement in Plano, or working anywhere else in the area, this certification really gives our clients the peace of mind they need,” says Hughes. “It’s a way to show them that we’re incredibly invested in their roofing – we care enough to keep learning and keep improving, and we take all that knowledge up there with us. Because we’re able to offer the Weather Stopper 3-Part Roof Protection System and special GAF warranties, our clients know they’ll end up saving money in the long run.”
The GAF certification process requires applicants to be licensed and insured. All applicants must also have a proven reputation as exceptionally talented and experienced roofers, as well, and they must commit to ongoing professional training in order to maintain the certification. Only 3 percent of all roofing contractors have qualified as Master Elite, and 93 percent of all property owners recommend Master Elite contractors to others.
